Sony’s upcoming game lineups have become something of a joke, because of how vague they usually are- such as ‘Secret PS3 Game,’ which was a legitimate thing kept on Sony’s internal upcoming PS3 game lineup rosters for years (and worse still, hyped up by their fans), before it was finally dropped.
One such similar analog this generation has been Sony’s promise of an unannounced game for the PlayStation 4, that will be hitting before the end of this year. However, whatever this project is has so far not materialized, and with just a little over three months to go before this year ends, the odds that it would be announced, marketed, and then released before this year ends seem slim… right?
Well, a new Sony advert is promising that ‘Unannounced PS4 Game’ is still going to be coming out by this year end. We already know that this game won’t be LittleBigPlanet 3 (since it is listed separately), so it appears that it will be something else. It will also be a retail game, since the ad only lists retail games, meaning a quick digital release is out of the question.
We’ll keep you posted on whatever it is, but chances are, it will be one of the more low profile re-releases.
