Sony Japan has announced the release of two new special edition PlayStation 4 consoles in the territory, both celebrating some of the biggest releases coming to the platform in the coming months. One is the Destiny PlayStation 4, which is white just like in the rest of the world, but in Japan, also has a sweet Destiny logo embossed into it.

The other is a special edition console for The Last of Us: Remastered, and while the Destiny console looks sweet and makes me a bit jealous, the Last of Us console looks positively tacky, with a gold themed vinyl stuck on to the hard drive cover of the system that looks as out of place as the garish decorations on the Wii U Pad in the Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD bundle.

This isn’t the first time Sony has done a special edition PS4 console in Japan- earlier this year, they announced a (pretty tacky as well) special edition Frozen PS4 for the territory.
