Some of those past ideas are so 1999! It’s time to go Hollywood on PS Plus members! Everyone in the party bus! Xbox 360 used to have this idea in their early days, but not so much anymore. Inviting game developers to “game with gamers” on games they created could bring real excitement to their games.
A simple way to publicize smaller indie titles especially. By bringing a game developer to challenge or just hangout with fans would bring new customers, higher sales and a fun social experience in. That is something Sony could really roll out for no cost at all. It would be a simple game setup produced by the developer which would be free advertising on their own game. Win-win.
