Special Edition For Metroid: Samus Returns Announced

A celebration of Samus's long awaited return.

Posted By | On 14th, Jun. 2017

Metroid: Samus Returns is the long awaited return of Nintendo’s beloved Metroid franchise, and the first 2D Metroid game in well over a decade. It naturally has fans excited, especially since many of them will now be priming up (pun totally intended) for Metroid Prime 4, which has been officially confirmed for the Nintendo Switch as well.

The good news is, you can celebrate Samus’s return with the Metroid: Samus Returns Special Edition. The Special Edition comes with a really cool themed CD, which includes samplings of music from all throughout the Metroid franchise, including Samus Returns itself. Given just how praised the music in Metroid games has been, this is undoubtedly a great inclusion.

Metroid: Samus Returns is due out exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS on September 9; Metroid Prime 4 is due out on the Nintendo Switch at some unspecified date. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information on the game, and from E3 2017.
