Combining slick third-person shooting action and fast paced melee gameplay, SPINE is looking like quite the intriguing prospect. Recently at the Gamescom Future Games Show, developer Nekki showcased the game with another new trailer, and it’s continuing to look promising.

Delivering what seems to be a blend of John Wick and SifuSPINE’s action is focused on agile action, with players fluidly moving from one combo into another through swift attacks. In addition to combining melee and ranged action, SPINE also gives players various traversal-specific abilities – from vaults to wall runs and more – which we also see glimpses of in the trailer. You can check it out below.

SPINE is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. A release date or window have not been announced, but hopefully we will learn more about the game in the coming weeks and months, so stay tuned for more updates.
