Splatoon 2 Next Splatfest Announced: Flight or Invisibility?

The obvious answer is invisibility, come on now.

Nintendo has announced the next Splatfest for Splatoon 2– this time around, we have to fight for which superpower would be better to have, out of flight (repped by Pearl) and invisibility (repped by Marina). Obviously, invisibility is the correct answer here, come on now- flight is cool, but invisibility just has so much more potential and utility than flight.

The Splatfest is confirmed for the first weekend of September. For those unfamiliar with what a Splatfest is, these are timed events held over a weekend in Splatoon, where you are asked to pick one of two sides. At the end of the event, sides are ranked victory or defeat based on how many people were repping them, and also based on how many battles each side won. It’s cool stuff.

The first Splatfest for the game was mayo versus ketchup, which mayo sadly won. It was a disaster on other fronts too, however, owing to connectivity and network issues plaguing it- which hopefully Nintendo has resolved on its end by the time this new one rolls around. Splatoon 2 is available on Nintendo Switch exclusively.
