As we approach Splatoon 3’s launch later this year, Nintendo is continuing to reveal more new details on the shooter. Of late, bits and pieces of details on some of its weapons, multiplayer customization, and more have been revealed, and now, Nintendo is pulling back the curtain on some of the game’s new multiplayer maps as well.
The newest map to get revealed (via Nintendo UK’s Twitter page) is Undertow Spillway, a formal flood bypass located deep under Splatsville. Undertow Spillway lay abandoned for a long time, but it has seen a recent resurgence in popularity after it was renovated so it could serve as a stage for Turf War matches. Nintendo has also shared a clip that offers a glimpse of its metallic underground interiors- take a look below.
Splatoon 3 is due out on September 9 for Nintendo Switch. Recently, it was confirmed that the game will support cloud saves- but only for its offline data. Read more on that through here.
