Star Fox Guard

Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard are both coming out near the end of April and to celebrate this fact, the Weekly Famitsu posted a ton of screen shots from both games. Among the images, some of which you can see below are what gameplay is going to look like for each game, as well as some character art and a number of vehicles that can be piloted.

A few other images we grabbed show the rather interesting way the Wii U gamepad is going to be used. Star Fox Zero is a continuation of what was a very popular series back in the 1990s but we haven’t seen much from the animals turned fighter pilots for quite some time.

Star Fox Guard is a kind of tag along game that is more tower defense than spaceship piloting fun. Last month we learned Star Fox Zero would be coming complete with difficulty modes that would be useful for both rookies and veterans of the series. Both Star Fox titles are coming exclusively to the Wii U on April 21, 2016.
