We all know Star Wars 1313 is a drop dead gorgeous game, and in case you don’t check out the trailer that was shown at E3. Yes, the game has an official site with plenty of information available, and before I talk about graphics, I think people should know that the game was running on Unreal Engine 3 and not the latest one from Epic, which makes it all the more impressive.
So far the target platforms are unconfirmed and its something Lucas Arts never announced while unveiling the game. Although, it has been confirmed that the demo was running on the PC, and used a pretty high config. As you can see in the video below, it’s something quite Uncharted-esque considering the animations. The game has a mature-theme and is set in a dark, vast subterranean metropolis beneath the surface of the planet Coruscant.
It’s a third-person action game built with Unreal Engine 3 as a base, and Lucas Arts has mentioned that the production values are quite high with, LucasArts, Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation Ltd. and Skywalker Sound all working on the game.
You take the role of a bounty hunter navigating a subterranean metropolis Level 1313 beneath the planet. It’s not clear whether this is just a tech demo or an actual game in the making, but something tells me they’re targeting next-gen. Tell us what you think in the comments section below.
