Tone-Deaf Dev and Publisher
So you head a major game publishing company and want to make money. Lots of money. That’s great and all but your loyal consumers tell you that they don’t want pay to win elements in their multiplayer game. So you adjust loot boxes and only allow Epic Star Cards by crafting. Nice! But wait they’re still complaining about the pay to win elements and cost of heroes. So you lower the cost of heroes. Someone give you a raise! But wait, players are still complaining about the pay to win elements. So you finally remove microtransactions but say they’ll be back later after things are adjusted. Star Wars Battlefront fans are frustrated and when you have a company as tone deaf as EA to deal with, it’s easy to see why.
