Star Wars Battlefront 2: DICE Details Officer And Specilaist Classes

More info on the game's multiplayer.

EA and DICE have revealed new information on the multiplayer component of Star Wars: Battlefront 2. More specifically, they’ve given details on the characteristics of the Officer and Specialist classes from the game and their unique abilities, strengths and weaknesses.

The Officer class, which DICE describes as “the lynchpins holding their teams together” is a support class with roles to strengthen their teams and control the battlefield. Star Card abilities exclusive to Officers include Blaster Turrets and Battle Command Fortitude. The former is pretty much what it sounds like, while the latter provides a stat and performance boost to friendly soldiers in the vicinity.

As for the Specialist class, these soldiers are stealth oriented agents who specialize in long range sniping and laying down traps for the enemy team. Star Cards for the Specialist class include Trip Mine, which is, once again, pretty much exactly what it sounds like, and Infiltration Replenish, which reveals all enemies’ positions on your scanners while scrambling enemy scanners in the vicinity.

You can check out more details on the Officer and Specialist through here and here respectively.
