Star Wars Battlefront 2 Info Blowout: 20 Minute Developer Interview Describes Just About Everything About The Game

This is the Star Wars game we've been looking for.

The PlayStation Blog recently posted a video interview with the developers working on the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (you can view it in full below), and there’s a lot of details on all aspects of the game here for anyone who’s interested- and really, why wouldn’t you be interested? The game looks incredible.

The interview, which features Craig Mcleod of DICE, Mark Thompson of EA Motive, and Matt Webster of Criterion, all three studios which are together collaborating on the game, reveals quite a lot of details on both the multiplayer and the single player components of the game. The developers talk about how the development for the game grew after the original Battlefront was released in 2015, and about how the three studios collaborating together has impacted the game’s development.

The developers in the interview claim that Battlefront II feels like the most ambitious game EA have ever worked on, with over a hundred people working together on the game across three studios. “I think it certainly feels the most ambitious,” said Criterion’s Matt Webster, when asked if this is the biggest game EA has ever worked on. “In terms of the amount of things to play with, and the breaking of new ground. This really feels like that to me.”

Star Wars Battlefront II will be out on November 17 for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for continued updates on the game. Till then, whet your appetite by watching the full 20-minute long developer interview below.
