EA is naturally hoping that the general boost in awareness and hype around the Star Wars brand that will come from the release of Star Wars Episode 8: The Last Jedi will lead to a bump in sales for its troubled Star Wars Battlefront 2, too. And to that end, the game will be getting a ‘season’ of The Last Jedi themed content.
The newest trailer for Battlefront 2 actually gives us a look at this new content. That includes scenes from the ‘Resurrection’ DLC, which augments the single player story campaign in the game (which is a kinder way of saying, it finishes the story that the campaign itself leaves hanging).
That apart, the season will introduce new Heroes, new weapons, a brand new map, and a new Starfighter Assualt map- so there’s a lot to look forward to, and it will be free. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
