Ubisoft and Red Bull have revealed the special collaboration items that will be available in upcoming open-world game Assassin’s Creed Shadows. As caught by Games Radar, fans can take part in a quiz which rewards them with special Red Bull-themed items usable in the game.

The quiz’s results don’t really matter, and players will be able to get the Red Bull Medallion Trinket and Red Bull Wooden Plaque Trinket. These can be redeemed through a code received via email.

Both of the items offer minor in-game bonuses for players. The Red Bull Medallion Trinket gives players a three percent boost in affliction buildup on enemies with more than half of their health remaining. The Wooden Plaque Trinket, on the other hand, restores two percent of the player’s health every time they successfully dodge.

They’re also character-specific, with the Medallion Trinket exclusively usable by Naoe and the Wooden Plaque Trinket only available for Yasuke.

The quiz itself features eight questions about Assassin’s Creed Shadows, including basics like the names of the upcoming title’s two protagonists and various aspects of the story announced by Ubisoft.

While Assassin’s Creed Shadows‘ March 20 release date is slowly creeping up on us, Ubisoft recently unveiled the various Achievements/Trophies that players will be able to earn during their time with the game. There is quite a bit of variety, ranging from simple story-related ones that track the player’s progress to ones that encourage more experimental gameplay, like using a breathing reed to hide in shallow waters to escape conflict.

Reviews for Assassin’s Creed Shadows are rumoured to go live on March 18, and various sources have indicated that development on the game is “pretty much done”. While Ubisoft hasn’t yet confirmed any official figures, rumours have also indicated that pre-orders for the upcoming title are currently sitting at around 300,000.

Ubisoft has been optimistic about Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Back in February, the company revealed that pre-orders for the titles were “tracking solidly”, and that its figures have been lining up with pre-orders for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey – the second most successful title in the franchise.

Leading up to its release, Ubisoft also released a trailer showcasing some of the features that will be available in the PC release of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. These include support for Intel’s upscaling and frame generation technology like XeSS 2 and ray tracing features.

More niche hardware like ultrawide displays will also be supported, alongside dynamic resolution scaling for systems that might have trouble maintaining stable frame rates. Check out minimum and recommended PC hardware required.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
