Star Wars Battlefront 2: I Don’t See How Any Shooter Or Star Wars Fans Won’t Want To Play This, Says Developer

"I don’t see how any shooter fan or any Star Wars fan would not want to be a part of this game."

EA is going all out with Star Wars Battlefront 2, the follow up to their 2015 reboot of the beloved Star Wars action franchise. It seems like they have taken the feedback and criticism the original 2015 game received to heart, because it does seem like they have addressed the most common complaints leveled at that title. The end result, according to the developers of the game, should be something that no Star Wars fan, or a fan of action games, feels comfortable missing.

According to DICE producer Craig Mcleod, this game is going to be the quintessential Star Wars action game- to such a degree that he just cannot understand how a fan of either shooters or Star Wars would choose to sit out on this game.

“This is the first game that’s had all three eras. I mean, our goal is to create the essential Star Wars shooter. When you think about all the eras, when you think about the single player, space combat, classes…There’s so much depth there. I don’t see how any shooter fan or any Star Wars fan would not want to be a part of SWBFII,” he said.

While the game does look great, and I am happy that the developers seem to very clearly be happy with their product and labor of love this time around, I would honestly reign in the hyperbole a bit until the release of the game, which will be on November 15 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
