Even though DICE’s Battlefield 3 and 4 had full server browsing for multplayer games, their upcoming reboot of the classic Star Wars action game franchise, Star Wars Battlefront, will be doing away with server browsing entirely; instead, the game will rely completely on matchmaking.

“Star Wars Battlefront will not offer a server browser, but will utilize a new skill based matchmaking system,” DICE clarified for players on Reddit. This limitation will not just apply to the console versions of the game, but also the PC version- something that understandably has a whole lot of PC players quite upset.

Server browsing has long been a part of most competitive PC multiplayer games- the removal of this feature has led to uproar with the PC community in the past, and the decline of several multiplayer franchises that used to be popular on PC, such as Call of Duty.

Star Wars: Battlefront launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC this November.
