The January update for DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront will be going live today and a huge set of patch notes has been released for the same. Though there aren’t new maps, there are still a number of important additions and changes.

Private matches and daily challenges have been added and there’s now a setting for choosing which server site you’d like to use. Heroes like Boba Fett and Han Solo have also been heavily balanced. Both have had their weapon damage over distance lowered with Boba Fett’s wrist launcher explosion having a reduced radio and his missile being unable to lock on henceforth.

The Tatooine Survival map is also now available for various modes like Blast, Droid Run, Hero Hunt, Heroes vs. Villains and Drop Zone. New skins like the Hoth versions of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo have also been added.

Check out the full patch notes here and let us know what you think of the changes in the comments.
