There has been quite a few positives coming out of the just finished Star Wars: Battlefront beta though there were a few things that people complained about after they got to see all they could. One of the biggest complaints was that there was a very limited selection of guns that could be used in the beta. While the amount of variety of guns in Battlefront are going to be a bit limited by the canon, one Twitter user was able to get DICE to reveal there will be more weapons added to the final game.

After being asked about the lack of guns in the beta, the developers responded that “the Beta only has 4 guns, the final game a heck of a lot more.” Just how many is a “heck of a lot more” is anyone’s guess. There won’t be the same level of guns as the Battlefield games, though that is largely viewed as a good thing. The developers have said this isn’t a title that is Battlefield with a Star Wars skin. Instead this game is going in an entirely new direction.

So while there will be more guns, there apparently won’t be any additional Walker Assault maps. The team was asked whether there would be additional maps in the final game and the team said there will be just the four. There is one map for each of the four planets that support that particular game mode (Hoth, Tattooine, Sullust and Endor). Players will just have to learn to accept that when Star Wars: Battlefront launches on November 17, 2015.
