We may not have seen a lot of gameplay of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order (we’ve seen none, actually), but what we have heard of it so far is sounding very promising- a single player story-focused action adventure title, being helmed by the director of God of War 3? Yes, please.

Said director, Stig Asmussen, too is quite confident about what Respawn Entertainment are working on. Speaking in an interview with the Official PlayStation Magazine in their June 2019 issue (Issue 162), Asmussen was very confident about the upcoming title, calling it “something really, really fun”, before saying that he’s “confident we’re onto something.”

“To say we’re a mash-up crew is an understatement, but everybody has a really high pedigree,” said Asmussen when speaking about the development team that is working on Fallen Order. “When I come into work every day and I feel the vibe and I feel the energy in the studio and I actually get my hands on the controller and I see that we’re making something that’s really, really fun it makes me feel great, it lets me know we’re on the right track, and let me tell you I’m super-confident we’re onto something.”

Recently, Chris Avellone, who served as a writer on Fallen Order, spoke quite highly of his experience working with Asmussen, saying that he has “a really solid vision” for what he wants the game to be. Read more on that through here.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is out on November 15 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We’ll be seeing its gameplay debut at E3 in June.
