Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has launched today for PC and current-gen consoles, and while the game has beet met with widespread praise from critics, it hasn’t launched without its issues. It has, for instance, seemingly launched in a less-than-optimal technical state, and PC players in particular seem to have gotten the short end of the stick with a subpar port.

In a recent statement published on Twitter, developer Respawn Entertainment has acknowledged the game’s technical issues on PC, saying, “We are aware that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor isn’t performing to our standards for a percentage of PC players, in particular those with high-end machines or certain specific configurations.”

Respawn says it has been working on fixes to ensure the game’s technical issues can be addressed., but suggests that players might have to be patient as they wait for patches, since each needs to be tested thoroughly to ensure it doesn’t add new problems to the game.

“While there is no single, comprehensive solution for PC performance, the team has been working on fixes we believe will improve performance across a spectrum of configurations,” the developer writes. “We are committed to fixing these issues as soon as possible, but each patch requires significant testing to ensure we don’t introduce new problems.”

Recently, Respawn also confirmed that it would be releasing multiple patches for the game over the coming weeks to address its biggest issues.

In our review of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for the PS5, we awarded it a score of 9/10, saying, “Its performance leaves something to be desired, but Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is still an essential experience for genre fans and Star Wars fanatics.” Read the full review through here.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
