A new gameplay showcase for Star Wars Zero Company is here, and the spotlight’s on the game’s turn-based battles. Check it out below.
We’re beginning to see what Bit Reactor meant when it said it wasn’t sacrificing elegance for depth with this one, as you get a ton of ways to take Advantage in a fight and build it up to unleash Ultimate attacks. You’ll have to be clever about when to use them, as Advantage is shared across your team. That’s aside from having three Action Points per character to unleash their abilities.
Of course, the party you bring to the fight is as important as the tactics you have them employing once they’re there. Thankfully, there are a lot of ways to customize how your fighters look and play. There’s a lot of potential for some mad synergies and spectacular battles with teams that might not get along, but get the job done anyway. As their commander, Hawks, you’ll have your work cut out for you, undertaking Operations for resources and upgrading your base to unlock new functions.
We can’t wait to see if we get to add Anakin to the ranks of playable characters when this one drops later this month for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC.
