Stardew Valley Launching on PS Vita Next Week

It will also be Cross Buy with the PS4 version of the game.

Stardew Valley

When Stardew Valley was originally announced for the PS Vita, the version was going to be the first, and at that time only, one that was truly portable. Of course, that didn’t end up happening- the game hit the Nintendo Switch last year, which ended up becoming a sort of de facto definitive version for the title (to date, Stardew Valley has not left the eShop bestsellers charts). So when the PS Vita version hits, now announced for a release next week, it will have lost that novelty.

But it’s still a portable version of the game- and Stardew Valley is an excellent game, and even more excellent on the go. There is no denying that. So, good news, PlayStation fans and Vita owners- Stardew Valley launches on Sony’s handheld next week. Moreover, it will be Cross Buy with the PS4 version, so if you bought it there, you will automatically have it on Vita (and vice versa).

Stardew Valley is available now on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
