Developer Offworld Industries has released a trailer for upcoming co-op shooter Starship Troopers: Extermination. The trailer, released during IGN Fan Fest, gives us a look at some of the gamelpay, as well as an idea of the different classes players will be able to choose from.

Starship Troopers: Extermination focuses on the boots-on-the-ground setting of its namesake, pitting players against hordes of bugs. Missions will revolve around gathering resources, and establishing footholds. The game seems to offer a strong emphasis on defensive play, giving players options to set up defensive structures and turrets.

Interestingly enough, the trailer for Starship Troopers: Extermination is presented in the propaganda style that the movie and books it is based on are famous for.

Starship Troopers: Extermination currently doesn’t have a release date aside from a vague 2023 release window. The game is slated to releases as an early access title on PC, and its release on other platforms is currently unknown.
