State of Decay, the hit zombie game that hit Xbox Live and Steam earlier this year, will be getting its first piece of DLC next week, developer Undead Labs has announced.

Titled State of Decay: Breakdown, it will be hitting both Xbox Live Arcade and Steam for $6.99 on November 29. That’s next Friday, for those of you who aren’t keeping track.

In Undead Labs’ words, the expansion will de-emphasize story and storytelling and focus more on direct survival. ‘Less story, more survival. Long-term survival. More difficulty. New achievements, survivors, and weapons,’ they wrote on their website.

The fourth update to the game will also go live the same day, and it addresses a plethora of bugs, while also adding new features like a loot system. A fully remappable keyboard feature will also hit the PC version a few days before the update and the DLC go live.

Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage on the title.
