Bohemia Interactive’s hardcore Mars exploration sim, Take On Mars, has received a pack of Steam Trading Cards today, the company announced in a press release today.Collecting the Trading Cards will allow people to obtain various pieces of artwork, which can be crafted into badges, drop loot in the form of profile skins, and even offer rewards such as Steam discount vouchers.

This is, of course, just another update in a series of updates leading up to October 3rd’s Deimos Update, which will, among other things, add new locations and new vehicles for the players to mess around with. It will also include new features such as ‘Dynamic Mission Generation’, a revamped ‘Part Failure System’ and the expanded ‘Dynamic Weather System’. The update is so major, in fact, that once it hits (free for existing owners of the game at that point), the game’s price will permanently go up. So you probably want to get your hands on this game now, if you’re at all interested.
