Capcom has announced that the next addition to the Street Fighter 6 roster, A.K.I., will be coming to the game on September 27. The character will be available as part of the Year 1 Character Pass, which can be purchased separately or as part of the Street Fighter 6 Deluxe or Ultimate editions.
A.K.I. is the second DLC character for Street Fighter 6, with Rashid having kicked off the Year 1 Character Pass. A.K.I., making her Street Fighter debut, makes use of her deadly, long nails in fights, and has been described by Capcom as a “maniacal poison aficionado”.
The character has been previously showcased by Capcom through a trailer that was released earlier this month, which shows off not only her insane personality, but also some of the combos that are possible through her moveset. Following Rashid’s trend, A.K.I. will also be available in all Street Fighter 6 game modes, including the single-player World Tour mode.
Street Fighter 6 is available on PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has been quite successful for Capcom, having sold over 2 million copies back in June. For more details, check out our review. Street Fighter 6 will also be making an appearance at Tokyo Game Show 2023.
A.K.I. slithers her way into #StreetFighter6 on September 27! 💅🏻
Feeding off orders from her master, she injects poison into enemies that dare stand within striking distance. You can’t fix her, but she will fix you. pic.twitter.com/azqsn51lS3
