Sucker Punch’s New PS4 Game Will Use Physically Based Lighting

I don't quite know what that means, but it sounds awesome!

Sucker Punch just delivered inFamous: Second son earlier this year, and while the game’s merits and lasting value can be debated for a long while now, there is no doubt on one thing, at least: the game was stunning, a visual beauty that derived entirely from the developer’s complete technical mastery of the PlayStation 4 hardware.

But if you liked what inFamous: Second Son had to offer, you will probably really like what Sucker Punch’s next game brings to the table. According to a job ad for the studio, the studio is currently recruiting people with previous experience in PlayStation 4 development, and with experience in rendering physically based lighting. Really, I actually don’t know what any of this means, so if you’re interested, go ahead and just read the job ads for yourself.

Let’s hope that, apart from being visually stunning, the game also manages to leave its mark with its game design this time around.
