Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the latest Mario platformer is out now, and besides the scores of courses and characters, there are also a number of items that can be picked up in the game. This Super Mario Bros. Wonder guide will list all items and their effects.

10 Coins

These large purple 10 Coins are worth ten regular Flower Coins. Most courses have up to three of these to collect, and count towards 100% course completion in addition to Wonder Seeds, in order to get a green checkmark for any given course. Collecting every single 10 Coin in the game will grant you one of the six Medals to be gained.

All characters can collect 10 Coins.

Bubble Flower

Blow bubbles with this power-up, which can enclose enemies, turning them into coins. Bubbles can be hopped on, unlocking access to previously inaccessible areas.

Cannot be used by Yoshi, Red Yoshi, Yellow Yoshi, Light Blue Yoshi, or Nabbit. The Yoshis can consume and spit them right back out, while Nabbitt will turn items into Flower Coins instead.

Drill Mushroom

Get a drill with this power-up and unlock a new method of traversal through courses. Not only can you burrow into the ground, but also into the ceiling. Pop out and knock down enemies using the drill, which is mounted on your character’s head. This move also works on enemies that drop down on the drill when your character is on the surface.

Cannot be used by Yoshi, Red Yoshi, Yellow Yoshi, Light Blue Yoshi, or Nabbit. The Yoshis can consume and spit them right back out, while Nabbitt will turn items into Flower Coins instead.

Elephant Fruit

Transforms your character into the Elephant form variant. The Elephant can bust through blocks, and smack enemies with their trunk. Additionally, the trunk can store and blast water at things, including wilting plants, to uncover secrets.

Cannot be used by Yoshi, Red Yoshi, Yellow Yoshi, Light Blue Yoshi, or Nabbit. The Yoshis can consume and spit them right back out, while Nabbitt will turn items into Flower Coins instead.

Fire Flower

Bounce fireballs at enemies with this power-up transformation. It only works when picked up while super-sized.

Cannot be used by Yoshi, Red Yoshi, Yellow Yoshi, Light Blue Yoshi, or Nabbit. The Yoshis can consume and spit them right back out, while Nabbitt will turn items into Flower Coins instead.

Flower Coins

These purple coins are scattered across courses, and are a form of currency to be spent in Poplin Shops that are in most of the eight worlds.

All characters can collect Flower Coins.

Super Mushroom

This power-up transforms your character into their super-sized version, and offers one opportunity to take damage, instead of dying outright. Crouching and sliding is the only way for a super-sized character to traverse past narrow passages of one block in height.

Cannot be used by Yoshi, Red Yoshi, Yellow Yoshi, Light Blue Yoshi, or Nabbit. The Yoshis can consume and spit them right back out, while Nabbitt will turn items into Flower Coins instead.

Super Star

A fixture of Mario platformers, the Super Star makes your character invincible, barging right through hazards and enemies. The Super Star will not save you from death to pits–make use of the Safety Bounce Boost Badge for that.

Cannot be used by Yoshi, Red Yoshi, Yellow Yoshi, Light Blue Yoshi, or Nabbit. The Yoshis can consume and spit them right back out, while Nabbitt will turn items into Flower Coins instead.

Wonder Flower

The Wonder Flower completely transforms courses rather than your character. The effect is different and unique for each course, and these Wonder Flowers can sometimes be found out in the open, but access is often obstructed in some way, and requires a power-up or badge ability to get past.

All characters can collect Wonder Flowers.

Wonder Seed

The Wonder Seeds are scattered around most courses, with one always granted at the end of the course. Some Wonder Seeds are available at Poplin Shops for purchase with Flower Coins. Many courses are locked behind the number of Wonder Seeds in your possession. They also count towards 100% course completion in addition to Flower Coins, in order to get a green checkmark for any given course. Collecting every single Wonder Seed in the game will grant you one of the six Medals to be gained.

All characters can collect or buy Wonder Seeds.

Those are all the items that you can collect in Super Mario Bros. Wonder for the Switch.
