With the likes of Mortal Kombat 1, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Alan Wake 2, and many others still in the pipeline, 2023 has plenty more major releases for players to look forward to. Super Mario Bros. Wonder is, of course, high on that list as well, and following its recent gameplay blowout via a dedicated Direct presentation, the excitement surrounding the 2D sidescrolling platformer is seemingly mounting.

Currently, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is the best-selling physical game on Amazon US. On the retailer’s best sellers charts, the platformer is currently the highest-ranked physical game, with varying download codes for subscription services (and Roblox) being the only items above it. It is, in fact, even charting above the recently-released Starfield, as well as other upcoming titles like NBA 2K24 and the aforementioned Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder is due out on October 20 for the Nintendo Switch. Check out extensive new gameplay footage through here.
