Super Mario Odyssey Pre-Load Now Live on Nintendo Switch’s eShop

Don't you know it's time to raise our sales...

This Friday marks the release of what is anticipated to be the biggest game – at least the biggest exclusive – for the rest of the year. Super Mario Odyssey launches on Nintendo Switch on October 27, and if you are buying it digitally, we have some good news- you can now go ahead and pre-load the game on your system from the Nintendo eShop.

The game will be 5.2 GB, and will presumably unlock at midnight ET on October 27 (at least, that is how Nintendo has handled pre-loads on 3DS and Wii U in the past; we can’t be sure they will do that with the Switch just yet).

As a reminder, Super Mario Odyssey will also be one of the Switch games that supports the console’s new video recording and sharing functionality- so you can share all your delightful clips from the game online on social media. Super Mario Odyssey launches on October 27, exclusively for the Switch. Stay tuned for our review for the game later this week.
