Shoot ’em up series Super Stardust will be making its way to the PlayStation 4, as the developers took to the PlayStation Blog to announce Super Stardust Ultra, after 2012’s well received Super Stardust Delta.

“Super Stardust Ultra, has an array of new planets, glorious visual enhancements, and includes no less than nine different game modes, including new modes and established favorites from the series and its various add-ons,” they said.

“With the PS4 socially connected features, you can now show the world your skills in the new Interactive Streaming game mode, letting your viewers vote periodically to change up your gameplay as they watch.”

Of course, the traditional point of the Super Stardust games- high scores- is still going to be maintained in Ultra, with global leaderboards and the ability to send and receive challenges. Plus, a co-op splitscreen mode has also been added.
