Super’s Lucky Tale Targeting Native 4K and 60FPS on Xbox One X- Report

Impressive.

The Xbox One X is ostensibly the most powerful home console ever made- but the question remains, how many developers will actually bother utilizing and leveraging its extra power, since they have to target the base Xbox One and Xbox One S as well?

Well, apparently Playful is doing that with its upcoming Super’s Lucky Tale, the full 3D platforming sequel to the former Oculus Rift exclusive. The game, which is due to launch on November 7 right alongside the Xbox One X, will apparently be targeting a native 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, according to Eurogamer’s Digital Foundry.

Maybe that has to do with the game running in Unity, but that is extremely impressive- it’s not as though the game doesn’t look nice either (although I imagine the artstyle has a lot to do with that, as well). Whatever the reason may be, there is no denying that hitting 4K and 60fps is impressive, no matter what.
