Following in the footsteps of Steam breakout hits such as the likes of Valheim and Terraria, developer Pugstorm’s latest co-op survival horror game Core Keeper is topping Steam sales charts as of late. Featuring a cartoony art style, Core Keeper is a steaming pot of ideas taken from many contemporaries of the genre – that all work really well in tandem with each other.
The game has sold over 250,000 copies in just one week of its Early Access release, as announced in an official community update. Core Keeper sold over 100,000 copies in just two days of its release – which is most certainly an impressive feat. The developer plans to complete Core Keeper by the end of 2022, and until then – fans can hope to see substantial updates adding new biomes, enemies, and bosses on a consistent basis.
