Larian Studios' upcoming RPG has been "much, much, much more successful" in early access than its previous title.
While the "golden path" takes over 80 hours, expect a "staggering amount of previously unseen content" in future playthroughs.
Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke is "confident" in the team. "If it's possible, they'll make it happen. But it's a very big game."
"Our ambition is definitely to get it ready for this year," says Larian Studios founder and Baldur's Gate 3 creative director Swen Vincke.
Swen Vincke also reveals that Larian Studios has been receiving support from Microsoft and the Xbox Advanced Technology Group.
Larian Studios' highly anticipated RPG launches for PlayStation 5 and PC less than two months from now, on August 31.
Larian Studios says the game's "graphical fidelity and complexity has improved quite a bit" throughout the early access period.
