EA Sports seems to be pulling out all the stops in its effort to make FC 26 a good shot at redemption for the football simulator franchise after a rather disappointing outing from last year.
EA has also confirmed that EA Sports FC 26 will make use of Javelin Anticheat to prevent hackers and cheaters from ruining the game.
The month was already packed with numerous high-profile titles, but it also features the launch of a long-awaited sequel.
This year's lineup includes Zlatan Ibrahimović, Alex Morgan, Toni Kroos, Giorgio Chiellini, Francesco Totti, Marcelo, and many more.
Attendees can also check out Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Borderlands 4, Elden Ring Tarnished Edition, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade.
EA Sports FC 26's Ultimate Team mode will be bringing back tournaments, and the Competitive Gameplay mode has been further detailed.
Clubs mode will get the new Archetypes system which gives players a new form of progression, as well as live events and tournaments.
The Switch 2 version of the game will include quite a few of the gameplay improvements from the other versions, like better dribbling.
Attendees can also play Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Invincible VS, and more at the Xbox booth.
Along with splitting up the game into two distinct modes, there have been a host of other improvements across the board based on feedback.
EA Sports FC 26 is getting quite a few upgrades to all of its gameplay systems, including Ultimate Team and Manager modes.
Aside from the trailer coming out in a day, EA has also confirmed Zlatan Ibrahimovic as the cover athlete for EA Sports FC 26.
