Director Hiroshi Takai is confident in the final build and also empathises with those who don't have internet access for a patch.
"We were going to focus on telling a complete story from beginning to end and not make those same mistakes as FF15 did," says producer Naoki Yoshida.
It's "actually something that I’ve discussed with the higher-ups," says Yoshida. "Maybe it’s about time we removed the numbers from the title."
