Ironically enough, the third-person shooter's upcoming remastered could get a physical release on PlayStation, but not on Xbox.
A Microsoft account is required for cross-progression across all platforms, but multiplayer and co-op will be seamless regardless.
It will also be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one, and as a free upgrade for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition owners.
