Fans of the action platformer can use new Performance Pro or Fidelity Pro modes on the PS5 Pro when it launches November 7th.
The update adds Performance Pro and Fidelity Pro for PS5 Pro players alongside toggles to fine-tune ray tracing features.
The game's PC port will feature "a suite of enhanced features, including enhanced ray-tracing options, to take full advantage of a variety of setups and configurations," as per Nixxes Software.
Meanwhile, the paid Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack that was released earlier this year will soon be made available to all PS5 players for free, Insomniac confirms.
Insomniac Games' acclaimed action-adventure title, which launched for PS5 last October, is coming to PC in January, courtesy of Nixxes Software.
The new Performance Pro mode will also be available in Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Physical sales are "about a third lower", though Team Asobi's critically acclaimed platformer has surpassed Concord's worldwide sales.
The development team continues to chug away on the upcoming PS5 exclusive, reporting targeting a launch sometime in 2026.
The update also features fixes for stability, bugs and glitches while allowing players to customize their Parry and Traversal abilities.
Four suits have been created in collaboration with KidSuper and celebrities like Lando Norris, Vini Jr. and Rina Sawayama.
Sony confirms that the acclaimed superhero title has sold over 11 million units worldwide as of April 20.
"And the right time isn't now," says Insomniac Games about its upcoming action-adventure title, which suffered leaks several months ago.
Previously available only to those who pre-ordered the PS4 title, the fan-favourite weapon has now been made available to all players.
It previously emerged from Insomniac's December data breach that the studio had cancelled a multiplayer title named Marvel's Spider-Man: The Great Web.
There are also references to the leaked Blue Beetle DLC. However, Insomniac warns that using the debug menu can corrupt saves.
The latest update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 also brings with it a host of other fixes and smaller features, like the ability to change the time of day.
For fans of Marvel's worlds and characters, there are plenty of major upcoming titles to look forward to.
"These decisions have been extremely difficult, but they are necessary, and I think it’s important to be transparent," says PlayStation Studios boss Herment Hulst.
Additionally, on top of free new suits, the game will also add new paid suits developed in collaboration with Gameheads, which will also become available for free at a later date.
Insomniac Games' three Spider-Man titles so far have collectively managed to sell 50 million units to date across all platforms.
