Nvidia has announced that, because it would be confusing for customers to have two GPUs named RTX 4080, it is unlaunching the RTX 4080 12GB.
Free for all current owners, it will feature hi-res physically based textures, volumetric ray-tracing lighting that scatters fog, and much more.
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 is coming in November in two versions - 12 GB GDDR6X RAM for $900 and 16 GB GDDR6X RAM for $1200.
