The company has said that anyone who bought the RPG on PS4 or Xbox One between April 30th and May 27th will get help from its support crew.
Players have noted that the initial announcement about the upgrade was phrased poorly, hiding the need to buy DLCs on PS4 and Xbox One.
The announcement was accompanied by Obsidian confirming that it is working on more updates for the sci-fi RPG to fix bugs.
Obsidian Entertainment's sci-fi role-playing game is available for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
Texture flickering instances, characters' hair glowing, cases of invisible enemies and trip wire beams, and more have also been fixed.
Current owners of the base game and its DLC can upgrade for $10, though Steam users have reported some performance issues.
Volumetric lighting and particle systems are improved. The AI for combat and companions is also updated while weather conditions are updated.
It releases on March 7th and features improved visuals and performance, high-res environments and an increased level cap.
