Nintendo, Universal, and Illumination's next Super Mario movie could be named after the beloved 1991 2D sidescrolling platformer.
"We're going to meet some new folks that are old favorites and some folks that I think are really deep cuts," says Keegan-Michael Key, who voices Toad.
The first movie's directors are returning, and Illumination will start animation "soon" with sets for "new environments" in the works.
