It looks like Tales from the Borderlands might be in line for a return. While leaks usually posted on Reddit (or most other places, for that matter) are rarely worth putting any stock into, a couple of new clips posted to the site look pretty legit.

The clips show a trailer recorded off-screen for Tales from the Borderlands: Redux, which contains extra new content, including developer commentary, new codex entries and concept art, content that was not used for the game’s original release, and a new “mini” episode. Going by the leaked trailer, the reformed Telltale Games and Ad Hoc Studio (which is comprised mostly of former Telltale staff) are working on it together- the two are also working on The Wolf Among Us 2 together.

What’s even more interesting is that the trailer ends with a 2020 launch window tag for the redux release, before the on-screen “2020” flickers and turns into a “2”, hinting that a Tales from the Borderlands 2 might also be on the way.

Of course, given that this doesn’t come from any official channels, we have to label this as a rumour for now, but as I mentioned earlier, it does look pretty legit. Take a look through the link above.

A rumour about a couple of months ago also said that Ad Hoc and Telltale were working together on a sequel for Tales from the Borderlands. Read more on that through here.
