Tales of Arise 2

The Japanese RPG series, Tales, has been on a bit of a break. The last original game we saw from it was Tales of Berseria back in 2016 (though there was a remaster for 2015’s Tales of Vesperia earlier this year). Looks like that could be on the verge of changing soon though, as a new leak has come claiming to be screenshots from the newest entry- Tales of Arise.

The leak emerged from 4chan and included the screenshots that you can see below. Obviously, there is very little here, but one thing that jumps out immediately is the huge graphical jump from the previous game. Granted, Tales of Berseria was built for the PS3 as well, but it’s still something to behold. The leak also stated the game would come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC though no date was specified.

Like all leaks, especially from a source like 4chan, we have to file this under rumor. But it will be something to see if legitimate, and could potentially show up at Microsoft’s E3 conference. We’ll just have to wait and see.
