Photo modes aren’t exactly a necessity in games, but they sure are a great bonus. There’s scores of players out there who love spending time in dedicated photo modes, especially when games look gorgeous. Tales of Arise is, of course, looking visually stunning, but unfortunately, it’s not going to have a photo mode at launch.

Speaking with Game Informer, the developers of the upcoming action RPG confirmed in response to a question that Tales of Arise won’t have a photo mode at launch. That said, you can still hold out hope, with the developer confirming that it’s something they might consider adding in the future. Here’s hoping that happens not too far after the game’s launch.

Tales of Arise launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on September 10. Tomorrow, we’ll be getting more details and gameplay footage for the game, so stay tuned for that.
