Tekken 8 will be getting free demo on PS5 on December 14 and on Xbox Series X/S and PC on December 21, and Bandai Namco has revealed more details on what it will include via the game’s official website.
As previously confirmed, the demo will feature the first chapter of The Dark Awakens, Tekken 8’s story mode, as well as the local versus fighting mode. Beyond that, the first chapter of the Arcade Quest will also be included, as will Super Ghost Battle, the Gallery, four playable characters in the form of Jin, Kazuya, Paul, and Nina, and three stages with Urban Square (Evening), Yakushima, and Sanctum.
Bandai Namco has also confirmed that online play and save data transfers will not be available in the demo, that the Gallery will only be partially included, and that some of Arcade Quest’s content in the demo will “differ from the full version” of the game. The demo will require more than 28 GB of free storage space on all platforms.
Thanks to a recent round of hands-on previews, further new details have also emerged on Tekken 8’s story recaps for previous instalments, overhauls for My Replay and Tips, and more.
Tekken 8 launches on January 26 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
