Bandai Namco has officially confirmed over a dozen characters for Tekken 8’s roster so far, though recent days have brought more potential fighters to the light courtesy of leaks. For starters, players were able to use Cheat Engine to dig into the game’s recent Closed Network Test, spilling the beans on six unannounced characters. Now, it seems Bandai Namco itself has accidentally revealed a couple of fighters before time.

As spotted by a user on Reddit, Bandai Namco Europe recently published updates on its website confirming Raven and Azucena for Tekken 8’s roster, before promptly taking those updates down. The former was also one of the aforementioned six leaked characters.

While Azucena looks to be a new addition to the series’ roster (alongside Jack-8), Raven, of course, is a characer that Tekken fans will be familiar with. First introduced in Tekken 5, Raven returned in Tekken 6, but was missing from the roster in Tekken 7.

How long it’ll be be before Bandai Namco officially reveals the duo remains to be seen, but we’ll keep an eye out for any and all updates, so stay tuned.

Tekken 8 is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, and is set to launch sometime before April 2024.
