You read that right. Tekken creator Katsuhiro Harada has revealed that development on Namco-Bandai’s answer to the upcoming Street Fighter X Tekken has not even begun yet.

At the Japan Expo 2011 in Paris earlier this month, Harada stated that the development on Tekken X Street Fighter will not begin until development on Tekken Tag Tournament 2 has finished.

“Currently, the development of Tekken X Street Fighter is at zero percent. It’s developing about 5% in my head at the moment”; Harada said.

“We haven’t got on the development of Tekken X Street Fighter.”

“But Tag 2 is nearly finished so when I get back from Paris I plan to start work on that game”

Capcom’s end of the deal, Street Fighter X Tekken, releases on Playstation 3, 360 and Playstation Vita early next year.
