KILLZONE 2

KILLZONE 2

While not really revolutionizing or changing the First Person Shooter genre with ground-breaking innovations and tweaks, Killzone 2 still was an extremely polished, enjoyable and downright epic shooter, finally living up to the crazy hype that the original Killzone had garnered. The single player campaign was action packed, thrilling and intense. The multi player modes, while not a considerable feat when compared to its direct competitors such as Halo and Call of Duty, were enjoyable. The only problems with Killzone 2 were that it took itself way too seriously, and that it had a weak story and characters, and somewhat finicky controls. At the end of the day, though, KZ2 was just a damn good game.
