Tales of Graces F
The Tales series is one of those RPG franchises that is sadly neglected time and time again, especially in the west. Tales of Graces was a similarly overlooked title, largely because it has yet to launch outside of Japan. The series needs more recognition worldwide for its genre bending originality, and this is what it will hopefully receive when Graces lands in the west in 2012.
Dragon Age 3
Dragon Age 2 may not have quite met up to fan expectation, but there is no doubt that the Dragon Age series still has a lot to give. If you’re still one of the many who sees it as the little brother to Mass Effect, the it’s time you wise up and start getting excited about Dragon Age 3. The original was one of the best titles of 2009 and, should the third entry prove to be a return to form, it will be a very special game indeed.
Phantasy Star Online 2
At a time when console online gaming was in its infancy, Sega made waves with their impressively forward thinking Phantasy Star Online; a game that’s ambition was only matched by its sheer quality. If Sega are able to take advantage of more modern pricing models, (we all know that subscription based MMORPGs are so last decade) then expect this one to make waves when it launches next year.
