Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is finally set to launch a couple of weeks from now, ending series fans’ long, long wait for a new instalment in the franchise, and though it’s looking like it will have plenty of content on offer across its open world upon release, the live service racer is set to keep adding to its offerings following release. In a newly released video, Nacon and KT Racing having offered more details on that front.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown’s first post-launch season will go live on the day of its release, and will bring with it a free Solar Pass (which is what the battle pass is called in this game), 60 player levels, and 50 clan levels to progress through. A Solar Pass will, meanwhile, also be offered for free with Season 2, which will go live in December.

Season 2 will also bring with it an entirely new map in the form of Ibiza, which Test Drive Unlimited 2 fans will be very familiar with, with the island being recreated 1:1 and bringing along with it new rewards and cards, 20 additional clan levels, and more.

Season 3 will arrive in March, bringing a major new component in the form of Clan War, which, as its name suggests, will see the Streets and Sharps competing against each other for supremacy throughout the base map of Hong Kong and the additional map of Ibiza. 30 new clan progression levels will also be added.

Finally, Season 4 will kick off in June, which will close out Year 1 for the open world racer with the return of Test Drive Unlimited 2’s casino, where players will be able to wager virtual currency. Season 4 will also bring 50 additional player levels, new cars and cosmetics, and more. Check out the video below for more details.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown launches on September 12 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
